FROM ANNISTON/BIRMINGHAM: Take I-20 East toward Atlanta. Take exit 191 and turn right (south) onto Hwy 431. Follow the curves up and over the mountain. Come approximately 30 miles south into Wedowee. There is only one blinking red light between I-20 and Wedowee. Once you arrive into Wedowee and cross over two lake bridges, come into town to the stop sign and turn right. Go approximately 3/4 mile till you see a Wedowee Middle School sign on the right. Turn right and come to the top of the hill. Travel time from Anniston: 45 minutes. Travel time from Birmingham: 2 hours.
FROM AUBURN/OPELIKA: Take Hwy 431 north from Opelika through LaFayette and Roanoke to Wedowee. When you arrive in Wedowee, turn left at the main intersection (careful about that divided median!). Go approximately 3/4 mile till you see a Wedowee Middle School sign on the right. Turn right and come up to the top of the hill. Travel time: approximately 1 hour.
FROM ATLANTA: Take I-20 West toward Birmingham. Take the Bowdon Exit #5 and turn left (south). This road will carry you through Bowdon and across the line into Alabama. You will then pass through Woodland and into Wedowee. When you come into Wedowee and past Randolph County High School, Hwy 48 will dead end into Hwy 431. Go straight across Hwy 431 onto the side street between the hospital and bank. This road will carry you through the neighborhood and to the school.
